Our President, Omar Sáenz, and Vice President, Oscar Álvarez, recently met with the Mexican Ambassador to the UK, Josefa Gonzalez-Blanco, and the Director of the Instituto de los Mexicanos en el Exterior (IME), Eng. Luis Gutiérrez Reyes, at the Mexican Embassy Residency.
Together, we discussed ways to collaborate to strengthen the Mexican community in the UK and the different ways highlight the amazing work of Mexicans living here. We also talked about knowledge transfer between Mexico and the UK.
At Red Global MX UK, we are passionate about empowering and supporting Mexicans living in the UK. We believe that together, we can achieve great things. That’s why we are excited to partner with the Mexican Embassy and IME on new initiatives that will benefit the Mexican community as a whole.
During our meeting, we shared an overview of our recent projects, including the successful launch of the Circular Economy toolkit in collaboration with EUDIF, a partner organisation, the Government of Hidalgo, and the Nodes of Red Global MX. We also learned about the different challenges faced by Mexicans in the UK and the success from the Mexican Embassy in connecting Mexicans living in remote areas.
We are grateful for the opportunity to have had these inspiring and productive conversations. We know that by partnering with the Mexican Embassy and other official institutions, we can achieve our mutual goals of supporting the Mexican community in the UK.
