We are thrilled to announce that Valentina Macome has joined Red Global MX United Kingdom as our new AI Trust and Engagement Lead. In this role, she will play a key role in helping to shape the future of Artificial Intelligence (AI) by conducting research, developing and implementing engaging activities, and representing the Red Global MX AI Cluster at industry events and conferences.
Valentina has a strong background in software protection and law, with a particular interest in the ethical and legal implications of AI. She is a graduate of the Master of Laws programme at King’s College London, where she studied Information Privacy and Data Protection, Cyberspace Law, and other related topics. She is also an experienced business lawyer with a focus on international clients and emerging technologies.
As Red Global MX UK’s AI Trust and Engagement Lead, Valentina will be responsible for:
- Conducting general or popular science research in the field of AI, with a particular focus on the ethical and legal implications of this rapidly developing technology.
- Developing and implementing engaging and informative activities for the AI Cluster of Red Global MX United Kingdom and Europe region.
- Representing the cluster at industry events and conferences and building relationships with key stakeholders in the public and private sectors.Advocating for the responsible and ethical development of AI.
